My first Jellyfish sting
Today during my usual Bathing at Tigne Point a beach near the coast of Sliema I felt a violent sensation of burn. It was my first Jellyfish sting by a Pelagia nocticula.
So now a little description of my Jellyfish friend the Pelagia Nocticula :
Pelagia noctiluca is a jellyfish in the family Pelagiidae. In Latin, Pelagia means "of the sea", nocti stands for night and luca means light thus Pelagia noctiluca can be described as a marine organism with the ability to glow in the dark. This species of jellyfish commonly known as the mauve stinger in Europe, amongst many other common names, is widely distributed in all warm and temperate waters of the world's oceans, including the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea and Atlantic Ocean. It is also found in the Pacific Ocean, with sightings in warm waters off Hawaii, southern California and Mexico, as well as other Pacific locations.
Activities for Student : Mdina Silent City Tour
The history of Mdina and its suburb Rabat is as old and as chequered as the history of Malta itself. Mdina , Malta's medieval capital, can trace its origins back more than 4000 years. Both Mdina and Rabat are fascinating to tour for their timeless atmosphere and their cultural and religious treasures.

Activities for Student : Valletta Capital City Tour
The Fortress City "a city built by gentlemen". Valletta has many titles, all recalling its rich historical past. It is "modern" city built by the Knights of St. John; a masterpiece of the baroque; a European Art City; and a UNESCO World Heritage City.
Nowhere in Malta is the life of the islands reflected more than here. The grid of narrow streets house some of Europe's finest art works, churches and palaces.

English School in Malta
English language teaching is well established on the Maltese Islands, so schools have a pool of experienced teachers to cater for all ages and levels of English. There are over 40 language schools in Malta and Gozo, offering a range of courses and leisure-time activities.
A number of these schools are members of FELTOM - the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations in Malta.
FELTOM has the objective 'to set, improve, and ensure the maintenance of standards in all aspects of English language stays in Malta, primarily in the academic content but also in those services which together constitute the infrastructure requisite of a language stay.'
The federation established quality assurance standards in the EFL industry on the Island.
